John Krasinski.

May 7th- Everyone loves a good chick flick. I was planning on seeing “Something Borrowed” alone after the YSA activity tonight, but two friends were able to tag along and I was excited to have a girls night out. When we were in our seats, four other girls from our ward came in coincidentally. It was so fun! The movie was great. I love the tangible feeling of happy endings after a good chick flick. But this is what I really want to talk about:

I really love John Krasinski- he seems like a one of a kind actor.  He seems so down to earth and genuine. I’ve never seen him in a movie that he plays an offensive roll. The Office- He plays a salesmen who takes his job seriously, while he finds humor and wit to make it through the usual obnoxious workday but he never forgets to make his wife Pam feel like she is the best woman in the world. And although he has a heart of gold and he truly cares about his co-workers when the time is needed -he is never afraid to pull out the pranks. License to Wed- I need to watch that movie again, I can’t remember exactly how his character was but it was honorable! And adorable! Something Borrowed- He plays the best friend of the main character who he has feelings for. He see's how her dilemma with another guy can hurt her and he encourages her to get some self respect and stop letting the guy mess with her mind, and her friends walk all over her. But, he respects her enough to make her decision even though he gets frustrated she won't see her self worth. Talk about the best guy friend you could get out there!
Jonny Depp said, "With any part you play, there is a certain amount of yourself in it. There has to be, otherwise it's just not acting. It's lying." Underneath all of John Krasinski's roles, you can always find that witty, caring gentleman.
This world is in desperate need to have more guys similar to his personality acting roles.
